I have been trying to put together a list of quick stress relievers because I wasn't pleased with the ones I found ... ones which assumed that people had all kinds of time and could go off for massages and 3 week vacations and all sorts. So ... this is what I've compiled so far.
The other night, I was dozing off and somewhere in between that wake and sleep state when I suddenly felt like my eyes weren't entirely closed. Then I got to wondering ... am I sleeping with my eyes slightly open? It is a thing. It does happen to some people.
I completed my first 300K brevet (323 kms = 200 miles) in just over 17 hours on May 26, 2001 on my Giant. It was an easier ride than the 200K I did on my Mongoose!
I completed my first 200K brevet, in 12 hours, with the Manitoba Randonneurs, on May 12, 2001, on my 40lb Mongoose Mountain bike!!
